Buddie "Wayne" Turner, 90, of Clarksville passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2024 at his home. Mr. Turner was born February 23, 1934 in Oark to Mr. William Henry and Myrtle (Cowan) Turner. Buddie was a carpenter who loved his family. He was and entertainer at heart, he loved playing his guitar and playing for the Senior Activity Center. He also was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed digging ginseng. He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Mildred Faye (Melson) Turner; One Grandchild, Christian Turner; One Brother, Everett Turner and Five Sisters, Janie Hufford, Bernice Risser, Jeanne Apidgian, Leta Mae Arbaugh and Judy Wheeler
Mr. Turner is survived by his wife of 10 years, Mary (White)Turner; one daughter, Donna Diane Freeman of Clarksville; two sons, Wade Dejuan Turner of Clarksville and Darren Wayne Turner (Kathy) of Clarksville; two Stepsons, Mike Howell (Cindy) of Youngtown, AZ and Randy Howell (Susie) of Dardanelle; one brother, Jerry Floyd Turner of Ozone; grandchildren, Jade Emilee Turner, Adrienne Leigh Turner, Kenton Kelsey Turner, Freddie Wayne Turner, Trent Ryan Owns, Joshua Scott Owens, Tiffany Dunlap and Seven step-grandchildren; great grandchildren, Trenton Scott Owens, Ansel Wayne Owens, Kinley Turner, Kade Turner and Six step-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4:00 6:00 P.M. Sunday, April 14, 2024 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 15, 2024 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steven Copeland officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Airy Cemetery with Trent Owens, Joshua Owens, Freddie Turner, Blake Howell, Wesley Turner, Terry Turner and Troy Turner serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Wesley Kendrick, Brad Turner, Steve Stewart and Kenton Turner.

Such a kind, funny and talented man. Always such a pleasure to be around him. So sorry for this great loss. I hope you find peace with your memories of him.
