Jimmie "Jim" Anderson

of Conway, AR

April 17, 1935 - April 9, 2024

Jimmie (Jim) R. Anderson, 88, a caring husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather left the world on April 9, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Deanna Anderson; granddaughter, Michelle Thompson and brother, Charles Anderson.

Jim was born to Clemmie and Donnie Anderson on April 17, 1935 in Paris, Arkansas. He married his wife, Deanna and they had three daughters, Loretta, Brenda and Annette. Jim also had another daughter, Marietta.

Jim was a role model, mentor and friend throughout our lives. Growing up, we always looked up to him for his strength and wisdom, along with his kindness. We will cherish many memories over the years from his great cooking, western movies and talks about World News. He was a strong provider for his family and enjoyed working at IT baking company for 40 years as an engineer.

As we all navigate through our lives, we will always take all that he has instilled in us and use it in our lives.

Jim leaves behind daughters, Loretta Cummings (Gary), Brenda Bruce, Annette Harrell (Bruce), Marietta Pearson (Gary); brother, Fay Anderson and sister, Carolyn Brady. He also leaves a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There will be a visitation from 10:30am until 11:00am on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at St Joseph Catholic Church in Conway, Arkansas. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00am with burial at Macedonia Cemetery.
