Blaine McGaughey, age 75, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Friday, February 2, 2024 in Mountain Home.
Blaine was born October 6, 1948 in Indiana, Pennsylvania to Guy and Florence May McGaughey. He had lived in the area since 1965. He retired from Microplastics after 39 years. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Yellville. He loved going to steam engine tractor shows, listening to bluegrass music and going to fiddler conventions. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Blaine is survived by his wife, Becky, of the home; his daughters, Michaeale Robertson (Bobby) of Angleton, Texas, LaNelle Cagle of Rogers, Carrie Milligan (Doc) and Corrie McGaughey all of Yellville; his brother, Lee McGaughey of Greenbrier; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Riley; his granddaughter, Andrea McGaughey and his grandson, Tanner Jackson.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Monday, February 5, 2024 at First Presbyterian Church in Yellville.

Blaine was always a huge part of my family's life, best friends with dad. I think I was a teenager before I realized we were "shirttail" kin as my southern family calls it. I am heartbroken to hear of his passing. I also have no doubt he is with Jesus. How sweet that is.
