Gene Coleman of Osceola, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024. He was born in Dell, Arkansas on October 28, 1939 to Noah G. and Bertha P. Coleman. Gene owned and operated Coleman's Upholstery for well over 55 years and took great pride in his craftsmanship and served in the United States Air Force from 1961 to 1965. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and was a member of the Church of Christ in Luxora. Gene is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Janis Hoggard Coleman; stepson, Mark (Kathy) Passmore of Springdale; three grandsons, Kyle (Amy) Passmore, Cameron Passmore, Chandler Passmore and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Francis. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Roller-Swift Funeral Home.
