Mississippi County Memorial Gardens was established in 1961. The cemetery consists of 25 acres with about half of it currently being used as cemetery property. Roller Swift Funeral Home sits on about 2 acres of land within this cemetery. The cemetery is divided into 8 sections. Within these sections, is a Veterans Section, a Mausoleum and many ground burial spaces.

The cemetery is located on Highway 61 approximately 1 mile South of Osceola.
